Engine System designs for in-chassis installation.

Dynamometer figures will never be achieved in the chassis unless the installation is correct. Apart from the relatively simple task of mounting the engine mechanically to the transmission and chassis frame, there is the cooling system for engine water jacket, engine oil, inlet and filtration system and any necessary ducting. This may also include high performance dry sump systems. In the case of very high performance engines with limited in-chassis space, cooling can be optimised with the use of remote cooling systems utilising electric pumps and coolant-to-water heat exchangers, NACA ducts to control the flow of air and in extreme cases, wind tunnel testing to develop optimal air ducting.

Other engine systems will include the installation of forced induction; turbochargers and superchargers. We have immense knowledge in this area, having had more than 20 years experience in this field alone.
